بیا
/ biyâ /
verb · come! (imperative)
Meaning
معنی۱
Bia carries the warmth of Iranian hospitality. A host will say بیا تو (biyâ tu), "come in," before you have even reached the doorstep. The phrase بیا بریم (biyâ berim), "come on let's go," is the universal Iranian lead-out for any plan, from a quick tea run to a road trip. There's also a tender register: parents calling a child with بیا بغلم (biyâ baghalam), "come into my arms."
