I grew up in Tabriz, and Persian is my third language — which is exactly why I teach the way I do. I’m the person behind every part of this project: I sourced and cited all 3,206 words in the dictionary, wrote the guides, and sit across from you when you book a lesson. Persian With El is my field guide to the language I fell for.

Most courses hand you a wordlist and hope. I spent years building the opposite: a growing dictionary where each entry is traced to where it’s actually used, a film, a protest chant, a grandmother’s kitchen. When you learn here, you’re learning from someone who reads the language every day and keeps adding to it, not a textbook that copied another textbook.
