خسته شدن

Khaste nabâshid, "may you not be tired," is the standard Iranian greeting to anyone working: shopkeepers, taxi drivers, your mother in the kitchen. It is the social acknowledgment that effort was spent. The verb khaste shodan also covers "I'm fed up," as in az hame chiz khaste shodam, "I'm tired of everything."
