What it means
موزه (muze) means museum: an institution that collects, preserves, and displays objects of historical, artistic, or scientific significance. The word comes into Persian from the French musee, which in turn derives from the Latin museum and ultimately from the Greek Mouseion, the temple of the Muses in ancient Alexandria. The French form is the clear source because the Persian pronunciation follows musee rather than the English pronunciation of museum. موزه is the standard word in both formal and everyday speech, with no common Persian synonym competing with it.
