نازی (nazi) is a Persian diminutive built from ناز (naz, charm, coyness) plus the suffix -ی (-i), which in this context turns the noun into a sweet pet name. It means roughly sweetie, little charmer, dear one. Used as a nickname for women named Nazanin, Naznin, Naz, Nazgol, or simply as a standalone term of endearment for a child or close friend.
Disambiguation for non-Persian readers
The English word Nazi (the political and historical term from German National-sozialist) and the Persian word نازی are unrelated. They share no etymology and no semantic overlap. The Persian word predates the German abbreviation by many centuries and sits inside a productive Persian morphological pattern (naz, nazi, nazanin, naznin, naznush). Persian speakers who name their daughters Nazi are using a word their grandmothers used. The collision with English is an accident of romanization.
Inside Iran the name is unselfconscious. Iranians abroad sometimes spell it Naazi or Naazee to sidestep the English reading.

Where it comes from
Pure Persian, formed from ناز (naz) plus the diminutive-endearment suffix -ی (-i), the same pattern that produces مامانی (mamani, dear mommy) from مامان, and بابایی (babayi) from بابا. The suffix is one of the most productive sweetening tools in spoken Persian.
