باد

What it means

باد (bâd) means “wind.” The breeze through Tehran’s plane trees, the dust gust off the Lut desert, the cold draft through an old window. Foundation A1 weather word.

Note the script trap: unvowelled, باد (bâd, wind) and بد (bad, bad/evil) look almost identical. Only the alef ا makes the difference. Context disambiguates in real reading.
