What Works
The grammar depth is exceptional for a free resource. The explanation of compound verbs (the thing that confuses every non-native learner) is genuinely the best I've seen on YouTube. Instead of just listing verbs, PersianHow explains the patterns, so you can predict how new compound verbs work.
Each video focuses on one grammar concept and exhausts it properly. No skimming, no "we'll cover that in part 2" that never comes. You walk away understanding the concept, not just recognizing it.
What's Missing
It's grammar-heavy at the expense of everything else. No conversation practice, no cultural content, limited vocabulary building outside of grammar examples. The channel teaches you how Persian works structurally but doesn't help you use it in real situations.
The presentation is classroom-style, which works for some learners but puts others to sleep. Long explanations with minimal visual variety. You need to be genuinely interested in grammar to stay engaged through a 25-minute video on the subjunctive.
