پیاده شدن
پیاده شدن (piyâdeh shodan) یعنی از وسیله نقلیه پیاده شدن: از اتوبوس، تاکسی، یا قطار خارج شدن. مخالف سوار شدن است و ریشه فارسی دارد.

سوار شدن
سوار شدن (savâr shodan) یعنی سوار وسیله نقلیهای شدن: قطار، اتوبوس، ماشین، یا اسب. یک فعل مرکب فارسی اصیل که برای هر نوع سوار شدنی به کار میرود.
بلیت
بلیت (belit) به معنی بلیط سفر است: برای قطار، اتوبوس، یا هواپیما. این واژه از فرانسه «billet» وارد فارسی شده و امروز در همه موقعیتهای رسمی و غیررسمی کاربرد دارد.
موتوری
موتوری (motori) به کسی میگویند که سوار موتورسیکلت است. این واژه از پسوند فارسی -ی به کلمه اروپایی «موتور» اضافه شده و در گفتار روزمره رایج است.
کاپوت
کاپوت (kâpot) means the hood or bonnet of a car, the hinged cover over the engine. It is a loanword from French “capot” and is the standard Persian term for this vehicle part.
ترمز
ترمز (tormoz) means brake, the device that slows or stops a vehicle. It entered Persian via Russian “тормоз,” whose own origin is debated. It is used in all registers for vehicle brakes.
فرمان
فرمان (farmân) means steering wheel in automotive contexts. It is a pure Persian word whose original meaning is command or order; it shifted to mean steering wheel because the driver controls direction.
هلیکوپتر
هلیکوپتر (helikopter) is a direct loanword from French “hélicoptère,” itself from Greek roots meaning spiral wing. It means helicopter and is used identically in all Persian registers.
هواپیما
هواپیما (havâpeymâ) means airplane or aircraft. It is a Persian compound of the Arabic-origin هوا (air) and the Persian root پیما (traverser). It is used in all registers.
خودرو
خودرو (khodro) is the formal Persian word for motor vehicle or automobile, built from the native roots khod (self) and ro (going). It appears in writing, news, and official speech.
