What it means
پر کردن دندان (por kardan-e dandân) literally means to fill a tooth and refers to a dental filling, the procedure where a dentist cleans out a cavity and fills it with a restorative material. All parts are pure Persian: پر (por) means full, کردن (kardan) is the general-purpose verb to do or make, and دندان (dandân) means tooth. As a noun phrase it functions as پر کردن دندان meaning the act or result of filling, and in speech you will also hear the shorter دندانم رو پر کردن (my tooth was filled). A related term is ترمیم دندان (tarmim-e dandân), a more clinical synonym using an Arabic loanword, but the pure-Persian phrase is dominant in everyday conversation.
