What it means
جدا کردن (jodâ kardan) means to separate, divide, or detach one thing from another. The adjective جدا (jodâ) descends from Middle Persian judak, meaning separate or apart, and is a fully native Persian word despite its appearance. Combined with کردن (kardan, to do or make), it forms a compound meaning to make separate.
